Wapato teacher accused of sex with elementary girl
Testimony is beginning in the Yakima trial of a man accused of having sex with a fifth-grader he taught at Adams Elementary School in Wapato.

Testimony is beginning in the Yakima trial of a man accused of having sex with a fifth-grader he taught at Adams Elementary School in Wapato.
The 28-year-old, Jesus Vega Barcenas, is charged with child rape.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports he is accused of kissing and fondling the girl in 2006 in his classroom and later having sex with her after he started dating her mother.
