Seattle cancer center has $40 million in stimulus

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle reports it has been awarded research grants worth $40 million under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle reports it has been awarded research grants worth $40 million under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.

That includes $16 million in federal stimulus money to research the effectiveness of cancer diagnostic tools, tests and treatments.
