Snow closes road to Artist Point near Mount Baker
Snow has closed the road to Artist Point, which is at the end of the Mount Baker Highway at an elevation of 5,100 feet.

Snow has closed the road to Artist Point, which is at the end of the Mount Baker Highway at an elevation of 5,100 feet.
The Transportation Department says 4 inches of snow have fallen and more is expected this week with the snow level at 4,000 feet.
The section of Highway 542 had been cleared of last winter's snow on July 14.
