Threatening graffiti in Maltby is signed 'ELF'

Graffiti was spray painted on a Maltby-area storage facility earlier this week, and it may be the work of the Earth Liberation Front, according to the Snohomish County sheriff's office.
Information about the graffiti was forwarded to the FBI, which is looking into two earlier acts in this area linked to the radical environmental group.
The graffiti in the Maltby area, which was visible from Highway 522, made threats against the Master Builders Association and the owners of Everett radio station KRKO. The graffiti is signed "ELF."
Earlier this month, two towers owned by the radio station were toppled near Snohomish and ELF took credit for the act. Last year, fire destroyed three million-dollar homes in a Street of Dreams development at Echo Lake, north of Seattle.
FBI Special Agent Fred Gutt, said that ELF is considered a domestic terrorism group and that the graffiti may be linked to the previous crimes.
