Cougar was sighted heading west in Redmond

A cougar was spotted in Redmond on Tuesday at the intersection of 162nd Place Northeast and Northeast 124th Street, according to Redmond police.

A cougar was spotted in Redmond on Tuesday at the intersection of 162nd Place Northeast and Northeast 124th Street, according to Redmond police.

The department received a report at 3:15 p.m. that a cougar was heading west from the intersection around 2:30 p.m. Patrol officers were unable to locate the cat.

Microsoft employees have reported multiple sightings of a cougar at the company's campus in Redmond over the past week.

Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife searched the campus with hunting dogs on Sunday, but did not find anything. The department asks anyone who sees a cougar to call 425-775-1311.
