The Westside Pharmacy in the 5400 block of California Avenue Southwest in West Seattle was robbed Wednesday afternoon by a man who shoved a female clerk against a wall, pointed a gun at her and demanded drugs shortly after 2 p.m.
Seattle police said the man ran from the business with a large bag of drugs, then jumped into a gray two-door sedan driven by another man. Witnesses told police the car's trunk had been open, and the fleeing man threw a white plastic bag into it. They were last seen traveling north in the car.
Police said the robber was wearing a sweat shirt with an Earth logo on it and a white T-shirt underneath. Anyone who may have information can call 911 or the Seattle police robbery unit at 206-684-5535.
