Oregon police are looking for a three-year-old boy who was kidnapped by his parents near Salem last month and might be in Seattle, Portland or Nevada.
The couple fled Keizer, Oregon, on August 20, after a tribal court issued an order that their son be taken into protective custody because of the parents' failure to comply with court-ordered drug treatment.
The boy, Ashton Lee Beavis, is a Native American boy with black hair and brown eyes. He is about two-and-a-half feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. Keizer police do not have a photograph of him.
There is a statewide warrant in Oregon for the arrest of his father, Reginald Frank Beavis, for contempt of court. He is 40 years old, five feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 155 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police describe Ashton's mother, Shawna Dee Beavis, 38, as five feet, five inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
They might be driving a red 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Oregon license plate WCT-059.
To report the parents' whereabouts, contact local authorities. .
