Opponents of Washington state's expanded domestic partnerships want their political donors' names to remain secret.

Opponents of Washington state's expanded domestic partnerships want their political donors' names to remain secret.
Protect Marriage Washington is making its request at a Public Disclosure Commission hearing Thursday afternoon. The group says it has received threats of violence against the property and supporters of the Referendum 71 campaign.
The state's campaign finance regulators blocked Protect Marriage Washington's emergency request to block the donor names earlier this month.
The group had turned in its financial disclosure forms with just initials, and had to amend their filing with the donors' full names. They're now seeking a permanent exemption.
