Residents of a small water district in East King County may have to boil their drinking water until new pipes can be installed.

Earlier this year, the owner repaired a leak that was thought to be causing water outages. However, warm summer temperatures caused more demand, overwhelming the system. The advisory, affecting 336 residents in the Cristalina Water System, was announced Friday night by the state Department of Health. The affected area is off Kent Kangley Road from 309th Avenue S.E. to 316th Avenue S.E. Customers may call 425-922-3944.
