Flying Dragons open Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival

Left: Anne Kagi, 27, gives a thumbs up as 20 club paddlers pull her with the Chinese dragon boat. On her first try, Kagi wakeboarded for 42.42 seconds for 100 meters. On another attempt, she wakeboarded for 57.05 seconds for 212 meters.

The Festival: The Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival continues today, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information, including schedules, is at www.cwb.org. Attendance is free, though a donation is encouraged.
