Anti-tax rally in Olympia set for Independence Day

Despite low attendance at previous events, organizers of an anti-tax rally in Olympia on Independence Day are expecting thousands of people.

OLYMPIA, Wash. —

Despite low attendance at previous events, organizers of an anti-tax rally in Olympia on Independence Day are expecting thousands of people.

Event organizer Anton D. Rehling says he expects a huge turnout on the Capitol steps as people protest the Obama Administration's economic policies.

The Olympian reports Saturday's Taxed Enough Already event in Olympia is happening in concert with hundreds of others around the country. He says the venue and the date - Independence Day - will prompt people to show in support.
