Mobile-home park residents to move

Monroe

About 100 people who live in a mobile-home park on the Snohomish River are being told they must move.

The Three Rivers Mobile Park is in an area that floods every winter. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is forcing Snohomish County to make changes at the park.

FEMA says Snohomish County needs to get the buildings and vehicles out of the flood plain or the federal agency could pull flood-insurance coverage for the whole county.

Snohomish County set Aug. 31 as the deadline for moving everyone out.
