Longtime strip-club owner Frank Colacurcio Sr., his son, Frank Colacurcio Jr., and four associates have been indicted on federal racketeering charges.
The six were named in a grand jury indictment that accuses them of working to promote prostitution at their nightclubs in the Seattle area.
The indictment was unsealed Tuesday, slightly more than a year after a restraining order was issued to bar the transfer of some of Colacurcio's properties pending further investigation.
In a news release, U.S. Attorney Jeffrey C. Sullivan said the probe included interviews with more than 200 witnesses, scrutiny of thousands of pages of reports, wiretaps and video surveillance.
Charges in the indictment include racketeering conspiracy, money laundering conspiracy, conspiracy to use interstate facilities for prostitution and mail fraud.
