The 7th Airlift Squadron is scheduled to return over the Fourth of July to McChord Air Force Base.

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. —

The 7th Airlift Squadron is scheduled to return over the Fourth of July to McChord Air Force Base.

It's crews have been flying cargo planes in Europe, Southwest Asia and the Middle East in support of the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The squadron is being replaced by about 100 airmen from McChord's 10th Airlift Squadron that departed Sunday for a 120-day deployment.
