Seattle Times reporter Eric Pryne wins award for story about development along light-rail line

Seattle Times reporter Eric Pryne has received an award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors for his story about developers moving into neighborhoods along the light-rail line on Martin Luther King Way.

Seattle Times reporter Eric Pryne has received an award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors for his story about developers moving into neighborhoods along the light-rail line on Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

The article, which appeared on April 20, 2008, was deemed the Best Commercial Real Estate Report in a Daily Newspaper by the group, which includes 650 journalists and real-estate professionals.

The judges said Pryne's report "added value in illustrating a new trend toward living near work or living near a transportation hub. It has a lively lead, strong infographics and extensive reporting."
