A man who worked at a Federal Way nursing home as been convicted of strangling a 75-year-old woman.
A King County Superior Court jury in Kent found the 25-year-old man, Joseph Njonge (n-JONG'-ay), guilty Wednesday of second-degree murder for killing Jane Britt.
Her body was found in March of 2008 in the trunk of her car in the parking lot of the Garden Terrace home where her husband Frank Britt was a resident.
Njonge is an immigrant from Kenya who worked at the home as a nursing assistant. Prosecutors say his DNA matched skin found under Britt's fingernails. He had Frank Britt's Costco card in his wallet.
Njonge faces more than 10 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
