2 WSU football players arrested

Whitman County prosecutors are deciding whether to charge two Washington State University football players accused of bicycle theft.

PULLMAN, Wash. —

Whitman County prosecutors are deciding whether to charge two Washington State University football players accused of bicycle theft.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports LeAndre L. Daniels and Tyree J. Toomer were arrested Monday by WSU police after witnesses reported seeing two men taking bicycles from a gated area at Regents Hall.

Officers located the bicycles at the residence the two 19-year-olds share. They were booked in the Whitman County Jail in Colfax for investigation of burglary and theft.

Lt. Steve Hansen also says a hacksaw found at the residence had been reported stolen from a nearby constructin site.

Daniels is a defensive back from San Leandro, Calf., and Toomer is a strong safety from Bellflower, Calif.
