Heat advisory issued for Seattle-Tacoma-Everett
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for near-record high temperatures in the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area.

Eric Patcher of Seattle wanted to cool his dogs down. Pork Chop stands patiently by his side in the fountain walkway at Westlake Park, but Cheecharones (pork rinds) puts on his brakes, bringing them all to a screeching halt. Warm weather is forecast to continue all this week in Seattle.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for near-record high temperatures in the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area.
Forecasters say the highs today and Thursday afternoons could hit the 90s.
The Weather Service says the warm spell will come to an end Thursday night as moist Pacific air surges inland.
Forecasters also say it will be sunny and hot in Eastern Washington until the end of the week when the skies turn partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms.
