Free citizenship help Saturday

Immigration attorneys, paralegals and interpreters will provide free help Saturday to legal permanent residents wanting to become U.S. citizens.

Immigration attorneys, paralegals and interpreters will provide free help Saturday to legal permanent residents wanting to become U.S. citizens.

They'll be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, 360-416-7095; Clark College in Vancouver, 360-270-6988; the SeaMar Motel in Pasco, 509-546-0865, and the Lacey Senior Center in Lacey, 253-535-4202.

Those wanting help should bring their green cards, a list of previous addresses and employers for the past five years, dates and itineraries of any trips outside the U.S. while a permanent resident, names and birth dates of any children, and, for anyone who has been detained or arrested, all certified court or police documents.
