Women pistol whip man in home invasion
A man was pistol-whipped by two women during a home invasion robbery this afternoon, according to Seattle police.
Two women apparently walked into a man's house in Seattle's Central Area this afternoon, demanded money and pistol-whipped him, according to Seattle police.
Someone — presumably the victim — called 911 at 2:03 p.m. to report an assault in the 500 block of 26th Avenue, said police spokesman Mark Jamieson.
"The victim stated he was pistol-whipped and the suspects fled," he said. "They walked into his house, asked for money and beat him with a gun."
Both women were armed but police have not yet released detailed descriptions of either suspect. As of 2:30 p.m., Jamieson said he hadn't received word about whether the women took any cash or items from the victim. He also didn't know the extent of the man's injuries or whether he required hospitalization.
