QUILCENE — The State Patrol says a 51-year-old Quilcene man riding a bike on Highway 101 was struck and killed by a car.

Trooper Krista Hedstrom says the rider entered the roadway in front of the car Thursday about four miles south of Discovery Bay.

The driver, a 47-year-old Quilcene man, was not given a ticket, but Hedstrom told The Peninsula Daily News he was driving with a suspended license.
