More bones found near Lacey school
More human bones have been found in a wooded area near a school in Lacey.
More human bones have been found in a wooded area near a school in Lacey.
The bones were found Saturday near Meadows Elementary School, two days after children found a human skull in the same area.
Police say the skull found Thursday evening appears to be from a man aged 35 to 40 and may have been there a year or longer.
The newly found bones include a human jaw bone, a thigh bone and other remains, including teeth with dental fillings, which may help with identification.
Sheriff's Det. Rod Gray told The Olympian the manÂs death is considered suspicious, but officials canÂt say whether he was a homicide victim.
Lacey is just east of Olympia.
