Experts to offer help on citizenship applications

Volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals and interpreters will offer their expertise in Tukwila on Saturday to help legal permanent residents of Washington prepare citizenship applications.

Volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals and interpreters will offer their expertise in Tukwila on Saturday to help legal permanent residents of Washington prepare citizenship applications.

The free "Citizenship Day" services will be at Showalter Middle School, 4628 S. 144th St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those seeking assistance should bring green cards; lists of home addresses, employers and dates worked in the past five years; dates and itineraries of trips outside the U.S. since becoming a permanent resident; and all certified court and police documents, if applicable.

Another Citizenship Day will be held May 30. More information is at www.weareoneamerica.org.
