A 20-year-old Seattle man who suffered a groin injury during a shooting earlier this week in SeaTac was booked into the King County Jail Wednesday night on investigation of four counts of first-degree assault.

King County sheriff's detectives are still looking for the man's two companions, who were inside a Ford Taurus that sped away after one of the men fired numerous gunshots into a Cadillac.

Two men were wounded, one of them critically, when a man jumped out of the Taurus just after 4 p.m. Tuesday and fired an assault rifle into the Cadillac that was stopped in traffic at the intersection of International Boulevard South and South 188th Street, according to the Sheriff's Office. A 20-year-old woman and her 2-year-old son were in the back seat of the Cadillac but were not hit.

The Taurus was later located and two men were questioned but were not arrested, a sheriff's spokesman said. On Wednesday, officials released a surveillance video and are hoping for the public's help in identifying the two other men inside the Taurus.

Detectives haven't yet determined which of the three men fired on the Cadillac.

The Cadillac's 23-year-old driver and his 21-year-old passenger, both from Seattle, were taken to Harborview Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.

Soon after the shooting, the 20-year-old suspect was dropped off at a Renton hospital with a gunshot wound to the groin, according to the Sheriff's Office. The car matched the description of the Taurus involved in the shootout. The man was transferred to Harborview, but detectives don't yet know how he was shot.

He recovered enough from his injury to be booked into the jail just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. He was booked on one count of assault for each person in the Cadillac.
