Woman killed crossing I-5

A woman believed to be in her early or mid-20s died after being struck by two vehicles as she attempted to run across Interstate 5 in Everett Sunday evening.

A woman believed to be in her early or mid-20s died after being struck by two vehicles as she attempted to run across Interstate 5 in Everett Sunday evening.

The State Patrol said the woman, whose identity was not released, was hit in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Everett Mall about 8:30 p.m. Two lanes of the highway were closed for several hours for the investigation. Neither driver was hurt, according to State Patrol.
