March 31 is deadline to apply for storm-damage assistance

Seattle Times staff

Washington residents adversely affected by the series of storms that moved across the state this past winter have until next Tuesday to register for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

To register, call 800-621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. any day of the week, or go to www.disaster-assistance.gov.
