One of two men who reportedly robbed an Everett bank this afternoon has been arrested in the Wallingford area of Seattle, police said. Officers are now searching for the second suspect.

According to Everett Police Department spokesman Sgt. Bob Goetz, the men were involved in a bank robbery in the 11100 block of Evergreen Way in South Everett about 4:40 p.m. A witness got a license plate number and law enforcement spotted the car on Interstate 5.

The suspects got off the freeway and ended up in Wallingford, according to Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson. He said that the two men jumped from the car.

One of the men is in custody, Jamieson said. Police are still searching for the other man.
