Guilty plea in SeaTac dog mauling

A man whose two pit bulls mauled a 71-year-old woman near her SeaTac home last September has pleaded guilty in King County Superior Court to possession of a dangerous dog.

SEATTLE —

A man whose two pit bulls mauled a 71-year-old woman near her SeaTac home last September has pleaded guilty in King County Superior Court to possession of a dangerous dog.

Thirty-six-year-old Travis Dean Cunningham also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors are recommending an 11-year prison term when he is sentenced March 13 in Seattle.
