Seattle police are looking for two suspects in the death of a man fatally shot as he crossed a West Seattle street Sunday night.

Police spokeswoman Renee Witt said the victim, a 26-year-old man whose identity was not released, was shot about 11:40 p.m. in the 4700 block of California Avenue Southwest.

The man was able to make it to a nearby restaurant, where he collapsed. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died shortly after 1 a.m.

Witt said two men believed to have fired the shots fled in a white sedan, but police did not have a more detailed description of the vehicle.
