Dogs are not allowed inside the Seattle Dog Winterfest, an event featuring pet seminars and booths at Bell Harbor Conference Center. The event runs through 6 tonight and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
A Friday Seattle Times story in the NWFriday section incorrectly stated that dogs would be allowed at the festival. Incorrect information had been provided to The Times.
A dog-sitting pen is available near the registration area for a suggested donation if owners arrive with their dogs and still want to attend the festival.
Dog trainer Cesar Millan, of National Geographic's "Dog Whisperer," hosted a session today and will appear at a fundraising dinner at 6 tonight to benefit Ginger's Pet Rescue and the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation.
Blake Lewis, former "American Idol" contestant, will also perform.
