KIRO-TV to replace Margo Myers in anchor job
KIRO-TV anchor Margo Myers is being replaced by Philadelphia anchor Angela Russell on the station's 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts starting in March.

A new face soon will be seated next to Steve Raible on KIRO-TV's evening newscasts.
The station has hired Philadelphia anchor Angela Russell to co-anchor the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts starting in March, KIRO announced Thursday.
She is replacing anchor Margo Myers, who has moved to co-anchor the lower-profile noon newscast.
Myers also will work on the morning news and other special projects, said station spokeswoman Maria Lamarca Anderson.
"Our goals have always been to be the market leader in every newscast," she said.
Myers came to KIRO from KOMO-TV, where she anchored the morning newscasts from 1997 to 2004, according to her KIRO bio. She also worked at KOMO as a weekday reporter and weekend evening anchor.
Russell is moving to Seattle from KYW-TV, the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, where she anchored the 4 p.m. newscast and reported for the 11 p.m. newscast. She also has been an anchor and reporter at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C., and WKRG-TV in Mobile, Ala.
