Trucks will be first on I-5 at Centralia

The Transportation Department is moving hundreds of freight trucks into position to move when Interstate 5 reopens at noon through Chehalis. A spokeswoman, Melanie Coon, says many trucks carry perishable goods, including live chickens. After the trucks get rolling, the freeway will reopen to passenger cars.

CENTRALIA, Wash. —
