Light-rail sessions to discuss parking

SEATTLE —

The Seattle Department of Transportation is holding three open houses this month to take comments on plans for on-street parking from people who live near Link light-rail stations in Rainier Valley and downtown.

The stations — Stadium, Sodo, Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Columbia City, Othello and Rainier Beach — are to open in July.

Open-house information:

• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at El Centro de la Raza, 2524 16th Ave. S.

• 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 15 at New Holly Gathering Hall, 7054 32nd Ave. S.

• 10 a.m. to noon at Mezza Cafe in the Starbucks building, 2401 S. Utah St.

Comments may also be sent to lightrailparking@seattle.gov. Phone in comments at 206-684-8186 or, for non-English speakers or those with disabilities, 800-823-9230.
