Suspect arrested in Seattle-area mall shooting

Portland police have arrested the 21-year-old man accused of Saturday's shooting at the Southcenter mall in Tukwila that killed one teen and wounded another.

TUKWILA, Wash. —

Portland police have arrested the 21-year-old man accused of Saturday's shooting at the Southcenter mall in Tukwila that killed one teen and wounded another.

Tukwila police spokesman Mike Murphy says Barry L. Saunders was picked up by police in Portland, Ore., at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say witnesses and surveillance video identified Saunders as the gunman.

The arrest warrant cites charges of murder and assault and says Saunders should be held on $1 million bail when he is caught.
