A helicopter owned by a student pilot crashed at Grove Airfield in the Camas-Washougal area.
The Clark County sheriff's office says the pilot and an instructor passenger were taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses say the copter was 20-to-30 feet off the ground Monday when it crashed to the runway.
The helicopter was severely damaged, but there was no fire.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
