Deadline to remove political signs in Washington

State law requires that property owners take down temporary political signs along state highways within 10 days following the election.

OLYMPIA, Wash. —

State law requires that property owners take down temporary political signs along state highways within 10 days following the election.

The Transportation Department says all the signs should be removed by Saturday.

Crews have already removed many signs that were illegally placed within a highway right of way.
