Missing Wash. woman found dead in wrecked truck

The body of 55-year-old woman who was missing for two days has been found in her pickup truck at the bottom of an embankment in Kitsap County.

OLALLA, Wash. —

The body of 55-year-old woman who was missing for two days has been found in her pickup truck at the bottom of an embankment in Kitsap County.

Sheriff's spokesman Scott Wilson says the woman was Sandra L. Kelley of Olalla.

Wilson says a woman walking her dog in the wooded area just north of the Pierce County line Saturday reported seeing a truck. Investigators say Kelley's 1984 Dodge Ram struck a tree after going off a road and down the 20-foot embankment.

Kelley last spoke to her family at about 5 p.m. Thursday and was returning home from an errand in Gig Harbor. Her absence was reported to sheriff's deputies at about 9 a.m. Friday.
