FORT LEWIS, Wash. —

The headquarters company of the Washington National Guard's 81st Brigade has arrived in Iraq.

A spokesman told the Tacoma News Tribune it will run day-to-day life at Camp Ramadi in central Iraq.

Other units of the 3,400-person brigade are in other parts of Iraq providing security.

About 2,400 members of the brigade are from Washington. The 81st began arriving in Iraq earlier this month for its second tour. It also went to Iraq in 2004.
