A 26-year-old man was critically injured when a piece of heavy equipment rolled onto him at a job site near Southworth in Kitsap County.
The worker from Seabeck was flown after Friday afternoon's accident to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
The Kitsap County sheriff's office says the worker was knocked down and trapped underneath an excavator that tipped over.
Officials for South Kitsap Fire and Rescue say the worker for Cleaver Construction was injured while installing a large tank in the ground at a home. The excavator was holding the tank.
