A standoff at an apartment building in the Skyway area south of Seattle is over.
King County sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart (URK'-hart) says the suspect walked out and surrendered just before noon.
The man is suspected of shooting another man with a rifle earlier Tuesday. The wounded man was found on a sidewalk by a mail carrier and taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Urquhart says nearby apartments were evacuated for a time.
