A Mossyrock city councilman who works as a bartender was cited for serving alcohol to a minor.
A Mossyrock city councilman who works as a bartender was cited for serving alcohol to a minor.
A Lewis County sheriff's sting on Friday night resulted in the citation against Larry Davis at the Pioneer tavern. He faces a fine, and the tavern could face additional penalties from the state Liquor Control Board.
Davis and fellow tavern employee Joelle Rhodes and their friend Tom Meade all serve on the Mossyrock council. Meade is the mayor. They took over their council in May after Mayor Jim Wilson and two other council members resigned, saying they could not get along with the "tavern bunch."
