Seattle police are searching for two men in connection with a shooting in the South Park neighborhood this afternoon.
Around 12:20 p.m., a man called 911 to report that someone had been shot at 10th Avenue South and South Cloverdale Street, said department spokesman Mark Jamieson.
Officers and medics arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to his leg, he said. The man was being treated at the scene. There was no further information available on the victim.
The two men police are looking for were seen running northbound on Eighth Avenue South, Jamieson said. Witnesses told officers that one of the suspects may have been picked up in a blue SUV at Eight Avenue South and South Cloverdale Street, he said.
Police have a partial description for one of the men, but no information on the other.
