Yakima County authorities are checking missing person reports as they try to identify a body found in the Yakima River near Zillah.

ZILLAH, Wash. —

Yakima County authorities are checking missing person reports as they try to identify a body found in the Yakima River near Zillah.

It was discovered Saturday by fishermen.

Coroner Maury Rice says the body may have been in the water several months. It was stuck in a tree and became visible when the water dropped.
