Ron Reagan to return to local airwaves

Ron Reagan returns to Seattle's airwaves, hosting a radio show that will be nationally syndicated on Air America Radio.

Ron Reagan, the son of former President Reagan, is returning to Seattle's airwaves starting Monday on KPTK 1090 AM.

"The Ron Reagan Show," which will be nationally syndicated through Air America Radio, will broadcast live from KPTK studios Monday-Friday at 5 p.m.

The one-hour program will replace the final hour of "The Rachel Maddow Show," which will now air from 3 to 5 p.m. weekdays, giving Maddow more time to focus on her MSNBC television show. (The radio show previously ran from 3 to 6 p.m.)

Reagan previously hosted a radio talk show on KIRO-AM and served as moderator of KPTK's Town Hall Forum, "We The People."

Most recently he assisted with Air America's coverage of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn.
