A smog watch has been lifted for the Puget Sound area.
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency issued the advisory Thursday for King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish counties, in the wake of hotter-than-normal temperatures and stagnant air.
An agency spokesman said pollution is dispersing thanks to an onshore air flow, and estimates air-quality levels will remain in the "good" range for the rest of the week.
Sunday's temperatures were expected to reach into the 80s, though not as hot as it has been in recent days. The high at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Saturday was 90.
