Border patrol agents seize 115 pounds of pot

Border Patrol agents have arrested three people and seized 115 pounds of marijuana.

LYNDEN, Whatcom County — Border Patrol agents near Lynden have arrested three people and seized 115 pounds of marijuana.

The arrests came early today after the agents were alerted to the presence of individuals along East Boundary Road. Arriving officers noticed foot tracks across the Canadian border and found three people hiding in the brush, along with two duffel bags of pot.

The marijuana and all three suspects were taken to the Lynden Border Patrol station for further investigation.
