AUBURN, Wash. —

A two-alarm fire destroyed a house and damaged two other buildings and an empty tanker truck at a fuel company in Auburn.

The fire department says the fire was reported just after midnight Wednesday at the Don Small and Sons Oil Distribution company.

Police evacuated several homes and a nearby apartment building.

Firefighters prevented embers from spreading while they extinguished the blaze. No one was injured.

The South King County Fire Investigation Task Force is looking for the cause of the fire.
