Seattle police seek men in home invasion

Seattle police are on the lookout for four or five men who forced their way into a house near Northwest Hospital and threatened the homeowner.

SEATTLE —

Seattle police are on the lookout for four or five men who forced their way into a house near Northwest Hospital and threatened the homeowner.

Police say they were called to the home at 10 p.m. for a report of an attempted armed robbery. The 54-year-old victim told officers that the group of men wearing hooded sweatshirts, bandannas and carrying guns entered his home through an unlocked back door and demanded money and drugs.

Police spokeswoman Rene Witt says it appears the men fled without taking anything. Police don't have a detailed description of the men.

Police say it's unclear why the men entered the particular home.
