Snohomish County sheriff's investigators have arrested two people in connection with a killing in Sultan last month.
A 46-year-old woman who reported finding a 49-year-old man dead in his bed on June 26 was arrested Friday, sheriff's spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The woman's 30-year-old boyfriend also was arrested.
Both suspects are being held at the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree murder.
Deputies say the woman, her mother and the victim shared a house in the 12800 block of 311th Avenue Southeast for about three years.
When the couple broke up a few months ago, the man refused to move out, Hover said. The man was found dead inside the home.
Hover said investigators think the 30-year-old man killed the victim. The slain man's name and his cause of death have not been released.

State sued over rape-murder case
Washington state is being sued over the rape and murder of a Lacey woman by a man known as "Cowboy Mike."
The case was brought by survivors of 44-year-old Lori Jones, who was found dead under her bed in June 2001. They accuse the state Corrections Department of being lax in keeping tabs on 48-year-old Michael John Braae, a former country singer convicted of killing her.
According to the lawsuit, a judge ordered the state to supervise Braae more closely a year before the killing.
Braae remains under investigation in the disappearance of two of his former girlfriends in Washington and the death of a third in Clackamas County, Ore.
Weeks after Jones' death, he was captured after leaping from a bridge into the Snake River after a police chase in Eastern Oregon.

PUD approves deal to buy pulp mill
A key step has been taken toward reopening the old Weyerhaeuser pulp mill in Cosmopolis.
On Thursday, commissioners of the Grays Harbor Public Utility District approved a deal to buy the mill's power house.
Evergreen Pulp Cosmopolis would get $17 million for the two 7.5-megawatt turbines, and PUD general manager Rick Lovely and Commission President James Eddy say the utility is setting aside another $10 million for repairs.
Evergreen Pulp is negotiating with Weyerhaeuser to buy and reopen the mill, which closed in 2006.
Evergreen would operate the mill, and the PUD would handle power operations.
