A tree branch that fell onto a power line at Belmont Avenue and Republican Street is to blame for an outage this morning that left 4,000 customers on Capitol Hill without power.

Crews are now working to restore power to about 400 customers still without lights, according to Seattle City Light.

The boundaries for the outage extend from East Roy Street to 29th Avenue East to East Pine Street and Summit Avenue East.
